For the first time since it was created 5 years ago, the microblogging site Twitter has undergone a major revamp.Its objective? To attract the general public with a brand new graphical user interface which is easier to access. It has to be said that with Facebook and its new profile (Timeline) and Google+ which is starting to grow, the microblogging site was obliged to become a bit more attractive.

Tweeter has gone from 90 million tweets per day in September of 2010 to 100 million at the beginning of this year to 1/4 billion tweets per day as of today, a 177% percent change.
