Today, digital and on-line media are revolutionising communication between companies and consumers: the majority of consumers expect companies to communicate with them on the web. And yet the most interesting conversations develop and exist in immediate proximity to content - blogs - and lose interest as they become more removed from it, conveyed via a network with several links on Facebook and Twitter.
