EuraTechnologies, an economic centre of excellence dedicated to Information Technologies

EuraTechnologies is an economic centre of excellence dedicated to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the Nord-Pas de Calais region. It aims to bring companies together which meet specific ICT criteria and to offer them cutting edge technical and technological services, and development assistance, from young start-up companies through to international enterprises.

EuraTechnologies is the culmination of an ambitious economic development policy aiming to:
♦ bring together the regional ICT sector, uniting different players on a single geographical site, facilitating discussion and communication between them, and giving free rein to economic initiatives in the target field of ICT;
♦ develop a long term presence, uniting a comprehensive economic sector and providing it with a European dimension. The aim is to host a panel of companies which are representative of their specialist area. This cluster effect will enable readability on national and European levels.

A place where players, projects and innovation come together, the EuraTechnologies centre of excellence converges around a central building, the Blan-Lafont, designed with ICT companies in mind.

From start-up through to international companies, EuraTechnologies specialises in four sectors of activity: E-business & Pure Players, Information systems and software publishing, Telecommunications & Networks and Content industries. EuraTechnologies also aims to develop an entrepreneurship support centre, comprising venture capitalists, legal experts, training, and the technological transfer which developing companies require.


A dynamic centre, EuraTechnologies wants to become a meeting place for all ICT players in the city.

• Levacomm is based at EuraTechnologies, in the building known as The Cube.
• On 21st June 2011, the Financial'IT Day will take place at EuraTechnologies. This is the annual forum for financing start up, innovative, or developing companies, organised by Deloitte and the PRN (Regional Digital Centre).
