Deloitte, the major audit and consultancy company, and the Pôle Régional Numérique (PRN) are launching Financial'IT Day, an annual forum for financing start-up, innovative, and developing companies at EuraTechnologies, the economic centre of excellence dedicated to ITC, in Lille (France) on Thursday 21st June 2011.
This first day for financing technological and/or innovative companies is organised with the active support of MEDEF, the DIRECCTE, the AFIC (French Private Equity Association), OSEO, the Nord-Pas de Calais region, the CCI and regional enterprise support networks (LMI Innovation and Réseau Entreprendre Nord).
The Financial'IT Day has a two-fold objective:
-
to connect project sponsors and company directors looking for funding with regional, national, and international investors, selected for all levels of funding (bankers, start-up funds, venture capital, Business Angels, development capital, etc.),
-
to give participants the opportunity to widen their knowledge of the world and processes of financing by participating in 40 themed meetings: understanding funding, raising funds, and financial management.
The aims of the Financial'IT day are:
► to introduce project sponsors to investors who are likely to fund them
► to give entrepreneurs real added-value through individualised support and preparation to look for funding
► to help these meetings run as smoothly as possible by presenting mature and pre-selected projects.
► to maximise visibility and efficiency for companies and funders
► to inform all companies in the sector on funding methods through meetings focussing on the financial needs of project sponsors
► to showcase the region and the enterprises within it.
► to create an essential annual event in the Nord region.
Levacomm is one of 30 companies which has been pre-selected from 84 applicants.
